Yesterday I finished some holiday postcards to a few friends and family, mostly those scattered across the country and the world. It’s the first year I did this, and it simultaneously feels fun and uncomfortable. Fun because I get to stamp and design and write and send a little cheer to people. Uncomfortable because it has a flavor of stretching into true adulthood, for me. If having a baby didn’t put me all the way over the edge, holiday greetings did.

The fact of the matter is that I enjoy getting cards from people, so I imagine people will enjoy getting cards from me. So, yay. Happy Holidays.
